Nathan Wright from Lava Row interviewed Chris Pirillo during a dmtweetup I attended this weekend and Chris has some interesting things to say about Iowa I agree with, but first he talks about Twitter!

I’ve had a lot of people ask me what Twitter is lately so I thought a video might help. Chris Pirillo describes on CNN what Twitter is and why you should have it. He is formerly from Des Moines, Iowa and now a big name in Technology. He will be in Des Moines May 7th for a meet-up and we are going. If you want to attend just RSVP here.

If you already have twitter or sign up for it, send me your username. Mine is ahhyeah of course. :)

I’ve created a new website, again. It’s called FaithHacker.com I created the site to share some of the things I learn as a Technology Manager of Saylorville Baptist Church. I hope that other Christian leaders can benifit from it and bypass the time it takes to find technical solutions to their problems.

Speaking of problems. I just read an article about the NFL copyrighting the word “superbowl” and stoping churches (and others) from showing the superbowl on screens over 55 inches to the public. I guess I understand a little, but I guess if someone is going to watch the game, their going to watch the game. It’s not going to stop them from watching it and it’s not going to make them buy a ticket (if you still could). Everyone would still see the commercials. The only thing I can think of is people who don’t pay for that channel and will see it for free somewhere else. But what about sports bars? And wouldn’t this apply to all games? And all things played in places on big screens? Hmmm.

Enjoy the game!

Moving to Wordpress

That’s right, I’m in. This is sweet. Wordpress.org rocks. You can basically download software for free that you can then upload to your site to manage your own blog and website. I got Gadgets365.com to work fine but it doesn’t have a complex design. Ahhyeah.com is a little more complex. Not a lot really, I just have no idea what I’m doing. Well during all this transition I’ve been trying to figure out what this site is going to be all about. I talk about myself, photography, web 2.0, religion, & any other random things. Well, it’s still going to be that but I want it to be about accountabilty. I thought it would mostly be me telling you what I want to change and have you ask me if I’ve been doing it. But with the comment section, I think it would be a great place to keep account ability with each other. Feel free to coment on what your struggles are and I’ll try to help you out, but don’t forget I need help too. Also it can be a place for prayer requests. So feel free to put your own in the comments that you would like prayer for.
