Simple Video Editor Privacy

Simple Video Editor is designed to be a simple video editing app that respects your privacy.

Data Collection

Simple Video Editor does not collect personal data from users.

The app does not use advertising, analytics, tracking, tracking pixels, or third-party SDKs. The app does not require an account or login.

Videos and Photos

Simple Video Editor lets you choose videos from your Photos library so you can trim clips and combine them into one exported video.

Videos you select are processed on your device. Douglas Porter does not have access to your videos, Photos library, exported videos, metadata, location information, or any content you edit in the app.

Photo Library Access

The app requests access to selected videos in your Photos library so you can import clips for editing. The app may also request permission to save exported videos back to your Photos library.

Purchases

Simple Video Editor is distributed through the Apple App Store. Any purchase or payment information is handled by Apple. Simple Video Editor does not collect or process payment information.

Children’s Privacy

Simple Video Editor does not knowingly collect personal data from children or any other users.
