Facebook recently upgraded their video feature to higher resolution video, and the option to embed videos on other sites. So far you can only embed your own. Here’s a recent video I recorded with a Flip Video Ultra at 640×480. The original embed was 576×432 but I’ve resized it to 500×375 to fit this blog.

Here’s a couple sweet videos showing the capabilities of gesture based computer controls. I think your arms would eventually get tired but it’s still an amazing concept.

Mere Earthlings will likely do some serious rubbernecking when the Aptera Typ-1 three-wheeled vehicle hits the road, perhaps as early as this year. The vehicle, shown here, is officially classified as a motorcycle and looks more like something out of “The Jetsons” than Detroit. The California-built machine will come in all-electric and hybrid flavors, the latter getting more than 300 miles per gallon of gas. Top speed exceeds 85 mph, and the vehicle goes from 0 to 60 in under 10 seconds, the company says. About four hours plugged into a standard socket recharges a drained battery.

This is really funny. I was wondering how they were projecting all the way around the stadium at the Bird’s Nest at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. I was guessing it was one huge computer or a network of computers working together. Well, now there’s more details. It seems they were using Windows :) Here’s some proof… pictures of the blue screen of death during the opening ceremonies.

I’ve had this laptop since it was brand new. I paid around $3,000 for it at CompUSA. It’s having some power issues and I don’t want to deal with it. I switching to Apple. I haven’t tried a new battery yet. I’ve upgraded the ram to 1.5 GB. I also had a free upgrade to Vista Home Premium but didn’t use it. The Product keycode is on a sticker on the bottom. There is also a product key code for XP Media Center Edition.
