Florida Trip 2021 – Day 5 – Thursday – Sanibel Island
On Thursday we strategized to go to the beach later in the day. We wanted to kids to rest a bit in the morning after just going to a beach the day before. We also wanted less sunburn and less traffic. Our final goal was to watch the sunset on the beach. I started off the morning in jeans and a long sleeved shirt drinking hot coffee and sitting in the sun. It was only 73º! It warmed up quick and soon I was drinking iced water and in a t-shirt.
While we were hanging out that morning, I decided to grab some photos of the property for Brooke’s sister. She lists it for rent when she’s not staying here so I though I’d help spice up her listing.
After some breakfast, I got caught taking a nap… I told you it was a chill morming!
In the afternoon we drove to Sanibel Island. We went shelling, played in the ocean and explored some of the island.
