I can’t type much, just wanted to say that I got info that a position I wanted at work opened up and I got approval to apply for it from my sup, I’ll let you know how everything goes tomorrow. It’s really late ’cause I was setting up some lights at the church for a wedding. I’ll write more later.

Early morning today, 7:00am, especially after working late til 9:00pm. Work was a little rough today but I made it through. Tonight I really wanted to go to the church and work on the lighting system for the church with Larry but I just had to work on these wedding videos and slideshows. I got another video done for the Huffords and now I’m working on the Decleene-Moore slideshow. It’s not really that difficult for me, but the scanning takes a long time. I’m waiting to go to bed but Brooke is making cookies for Christmas so I’m working on stuff. It’s 10:24pm and I have to be up by 5:00am, ugh. We also went and got another algae eating fish for one of my tanks, the one with the cam. And we got some stuff at Target for Brooke to make her cookies. Last we stopped at the Family Christian Store to look for a book that we didn’t find :( When Brooke was making her cookies we gave a little taste of dough to Emma our older kitten. We didn’t even have a chance to give some to the younger kitten when he started licking Emma’s mouth. It was so cute. Well now it’s time for bed and that’s my day. Hope I can keep updating this daily for everyone, let me know if it’s worth it and you’re reading it.

Today I worked from 11am to 9pm. I woke up to my alarm at 5:00 am thinking I had to be to work by 7:00 am. Then after hitting the snooze I realized I work later on Mondays and I didn’t have to be in until 11:00 am. That was sweet. I got to snuggle a little longer with my wife. I got up and finished editing a wedding video for the Huffords from church and then while it was rendering, I took a shower. My shower is so much better now that I cleaned out the plywood chunks that were in it. It’s a new condo and they must never cleaned it out after construction. So Brooke went to work and I went to work later. Work was long as usual. On my way home, I called back the Animal Rescue League. They had called me while at work to see how Peanut was doing. I talked to them all the way home about him and eating habits and stuff. I got some instant mashed potatoes for a late snack and started the DVD for the video I had edited earlier. Now I’m writing in my blog since I never do and then I’m going to bed. My wife is in there waiting for me with the kittens to snuggle. Goodnight.

Another day of work… Training went fast today and then I got to go out into the call center and do some typing on live accounts. I did pretty well actually. It’s easier for me to learn this way than sitting in a dark room watching slides all day. I left my lunch at home so Brooke brought it to work (Grand View College) with her and I drove to meet her and we ate lunch together. It was fun. Anyway, I got off at 4 today but stayed until 4:15 ’cause we had a thing called a huddle. It’s where our team gets together and talks about strategies and things. It started at 3:45 and went til 4:15. So I get a little bit of over time, that’s always nice. Brooke was kinda upset ’cause I didn’t get home right away. I was also a little late ’cause I stopped to talk to one of my friends at work (Brian Chandler) and he was telling me about a guy coming to his house where his wife was home alone. This guy was trying to sell magazines or something and kept asking her if she was home alone. And then asked to come in and get some water. She brought him out some water and called her family. People are crazy, don’t ever open the door for anyone if you are at home women! If you hear the story of Jeffery Domer or however you spell it, he said that most of the women he killed would never happend if they would have locked their screen doors. He would go to their farm house and open the big door and knock on the screen door, women would come and open the screen door and he would stick his foot in the door and get in. Anyways, if you don’t recognize who is at the door, just don’t let them in and talk to them through the door, or window, or screen door. ‘Cause once they are in, they are in. And no one is going to see what’s happening inside. BE CAREFUL!

11 more days! Then we will be moving to our new home. We have already started packing, a little here and a little there. Brooke’s dad (Darwin) is coming down and bringing her sister (Devin). Also I think my cousin (Corey) is coming down too. And I know my other cousin (Brian) and his wife (Andrea) and their son (Mattathias) will be here. It should be fun, we’ll have moving pictures and of course the webcams will look different too. Also look for our new address on our contacts page coming soon! Gotta get some sleep I’m still in training this week and had to use a Mt Dew to keep me awake today. Bye!

Wow, blogger.com is being very slow lately. Well not only should I be updating this more, but soon I will be typing all day long at work so I though I would practice here. Right now I’m sitting at church waiting for the service to start because I’m doing sound tonight. I will be here tonight for prayer meeting, Thursday for Impact (www.experienceimpact.com) Friday night for a wedding rehersal, Saturday for the wedding, and Sunday for church service morning and night. I will be busy. That’s why I’m on this computer now updating my blog. I still have 25 minutes. Today at work I went to training again from 8-5. It was fun. Everyday we have different people training us and so far two were younger than me and one just a bit older. I’m only 25 so that shows you how fast you can move up in this company if you want to. If you don’t know who I’m talking about yet it’s Wells Fargo Financial. Anyway today we learned more about a system called Supreme which is basically a text based program that you use to get info on accounts. We use about 3 more programs so they will come later. Brooke is at college until 8pm. We went to McDonalds after I got off work then she went to class and I came here. Not much else to tell you except that I’m excited to move into our new house. NOV 1ST! Ok better get ready for tonight, write again soon…

I haven’t wrote for a while but now I have a chance… theirs a lot that’s new. First we’ve closed Steen Auto. Grandpa wanted to retire and business was bad. I had enough time to find a new job. After alot of looking and applying I found a job at Wells Fargo Financial. I am in a call center doing collections. So if you don’t pay your bills, I’ll be calling you :) I started last Monday (oct 11) and just listened in on phone calls. This week I started actual training. Today we just learned about the company, benifits, rules and such, tomorrow I actually start training on the computer software we will be using. I’ll let you know how that goes. We also have a new kitty. You can see picture of her if you go to our picture gallery at www.ahhyeah.com/gallery I also put a bunch of stereo face plates on ebay the past week left over from steen auto. I’m making some good money at it and I’ll let you know my total when I’m done. Oh, and last night on the way back from MN I saw a girl I know from my old high school in MN, but we weren’t in MN I’m pretty sure we were pretty far into Iowa, that was weird. Oh man, are you ready for all of this? I’m going to try and make this short and to the point. Lets start from the beginning… Gpa has decided to retire. His original plan was to retire in 2 years but business has gotten worse so now is the time. He already has a buyer and the place is basically sold. Now it’s time to start packing, literally. Next thing to do was get a job. I’m currently in process of getting a job at Best Buy working on computers. I’ve gone to one interview and there is supposed to be another one coming. I had to quit college because I can’t work and go to school at the same time, I just can’t afford it. In the middle of all of this we heard of someone at church buying a condo in ankeny for less than what we pay for rent. So we looked into it and it’s true. They are 2 bedroom 2 bath with a fireplace and other good stuff and it’s less than our 1 bedroom apartment, plus we’ll be buying it so we won’t be throwing our money away. Next step is to get pre-approved. That we will find out this morning. We’ve decided if we can’t get pre-approved then it’s God’s way of telling us we’re not ready yet. If we do get pre-approved it will be a blessing financially. The place wouldn’t close til December so we’ll have lots of time to pack, and Brooke is off for a month then anyway. We’ll see what God does and let you know. Thanks to everyone that is praying for us! It’s working!

Yes! Puppy Chow! I love it, I get it every year. Brooke makes some sweet puppy chow. I got a card this morning too from my grandparents. Brooke’s sister, Devin, called me on the way to work too. What a suprise! Grandma’s started the homemade ice cream. Gma gave me $20 in my card and Brooke says I have to use it for something other than bills. So I’m going ot find me some new fish!

Happy Birthday to me! I have already had two calls this morning. My mom called me at like 6am trying to be the first one to wish me happy birthday. My sister Jaysha was second at 7am. Thanks for calling me! Now Brooke is making me french toast for breakfast, then I have to go to work. Gpa locked some keys in a car that is going to the auction so I have to hurry, talk to you later!
