Epidural is in and Brooke is 100% better, they even told her she can take a little nap. Keep praying, things are good and her cervix is moving fast.

Ok, the latest is… the doctor came in and broke Brooke’s water. And starting around 10:00am they will start the pitocin in her IV to induce labor. Also the amniotic fluid was green meaning the baby went potty so pray it doesn’t swallow some or that can be bad. All else is good.
A little more news. Our first nurse had to go home so we have a new one now. She offered to let Brooke get in the wirlpool and of course Brooke accepted. The nurse also said the doctor will probably break her water when she gets here although we don’t know when that will be. More later…
Well we are at the hospital now and here to stay. Brooke was having contractions every four and a half minutes so we decided to come down. As of now she is dialated to a 3. Only troubles so far is starting the IV. Otherwise all is good. Keep checking back for more updates.
Everyday we think is going to be the day our new baby arrives but it’s still not here yet. We have a lot of people asking all the time what’s going on so I thought I’d just write it here and you will know. For one you can click on the Videos link at the top of my website and see videos of the baby once it’s here. Right now all it has is Christmas and Brooke still pregnant. I start another new job on Monday. So now I will have a full 40 hours a week. I will be working from a friend at church that runs a realty. I’ll be building him a website, doing some photography of homes and other work. I think it will be a lot of fun. God has provided again for us. Now we will have some extra money to buy baby things. Brooke is feeling better off and on, but more on. Thanks for all of those praying for us and for the baby. Today we also got our refrigerator fixed. It wasn’t cooling all the time and was making a weird buzz. It was still under warranty but we had to pay for the service call. Better than the whole thing. I’ve been finding a lot of old friends from Pine Island on MySpace. I’m really thinking about starting a website with all of my Pine Island pictures, memories and links to others from PI.
