What I Did Today

What I Did Today – Oct. 13th, 2006

Oh no, Friday the 13th. Uh huh, yeah, whatever. I don’t believe that junk.

  • Worked for about two hours on Realy stuff
  • Went to the wrong Court House and paid for parking anyway
  • Saw a guy t-bone a city of Des Moines truck and try to drive off but there was a cop coming from the way he was going
  • Went to the Federal Court House to take pictures of Carlos at his ceremony to become a U.S. Citizen
  • Got two tickets, one parking, one for expired tags
  • Drove around in Noon traffic downtown (and went the wrong way on a one-way) to get my customized Fury plates but the line was super long so I left
  • Signed an offer on a house
  • Got a shelf from my office, a headset for my phone for $8.50, it’s sweet, a jump drive and some ink at Staples
  • Picked up the EMC Retreat booklets I made yesterday
  • Ran back and forth from Staples and the church getting ink so Mandee and Jess could print pictures in my office
  • Videoed Jacob Heistercamp’s wedding at Bethany Reformed Church in Des Moines
  • Stopped at Sonic and got two corn dogs and ketchup
  • Talked to grandma Mary Anne on the phone
  • Came home (grandpa’s) and watched the Bucsh race
  • Went to bed at 11:00pm
  • Texted Heath back and for until 12:00 about the offer on the house we want.

Best thing :) – Heistercamp wedding & Carlos’s ceremony (two great steps in people lives)
Worst thing :( – Driving around downtown in traffic & getting two tickets

ahhyeah
